We offer THREE different versions of UPS Software. The brief details are as under : Version 1 :

  • Enermon - Basic
  • Event Monitoring Software
    a) Generates Auto Pop-up messages for different UPS events and warns the users.
    b) Automatic unattended/graceful shutdown of files / file-server.
    c) RS -232 Hardware interface is necessary for these operations.
    d) Recording Power events in the background without any user interaction. Supports viewing and printing of all UPS events with date and time stamp.
    e) Shows Power history log on file-server for events like Power failure, low battery, etc.
    f) Broadcasting of messages / faults of UPS, to all the connected Clients/Users
    g) Provides Phone / Paging facility to transmit messages to Administrator or the Service provider.
    h) Each time the Server/Workstation is booted, the Software automatically begins monitoring the UPS status.
    i) Scheduling of UPS for Automatic Unattended Shutdown / Autostart.

    Version - 2 :

  • Power Monitoring Software

  • This version is more powerful and offers additional features as compared to the above basic version.
    a) Generates Auto Pop-up messages for different UPS events and warns the users.
    b) Each time the Server/Work Station is booted, the Software automatically begins monitoring the UPS Status.
    c) Gives reminders for maintenance of UPS, as Auto Pop up messages on the screen
    d) Automatic Unattended/Graceful Shutdown of files / file-server.
    e) Records information on the UPS Parameters in the background without any user interaction; supports viewing and printing of all parameters (like volts, current etc)
    f) Shows Power-History Log on Screen for events like Mains-failure, Low Battery, AC-over, etc.
    g) Notifies the users in LAN / WAN operation about events like Power-failure, Low- battery, etc. through broadcasting feature.
    h) Auto E-mail and Auto-Paging to predetermined E-mail ID / Pager No.. for service support.
        It uses intelligent micro-controller based hardware.

    Version - 3 :

  • Enermon - Remote
  • Internet-Based Power Management Software
    Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) monitors devices like UPS, connected across its network. Use of
  • Enermon-Remote permits the Remote -Management of UPS through use of Internet.Besides above features this offers following :

    a) All the electrical parameters of UPS at Remote point such as Input / Output Voltage, Input / Output Current, Power-factor, KVA, KW, KVAR, etc. can be monitored.
    b) It requires installation of Hardware Software in the computer near UPS software at remote location.
    c) UPS fault conditions such as DC-under volt, AC-under volt, AC-over voltage, etc. can also be monitored remotely.
    d) You can set parameters like UPS schedule (Night Shutdown / Morning Wake Up time), Operating system shutdown etc.
    e) Broadcasting of messages / faults in UPS, Auto Email Auto Paging to predefined E-mail ID/Pager Number facility available.
    f) Through SNMP you can configure your UPS to offload its information(Data, events, and health) to your registered file- server. Thereafter, all the authorised users can see the status of the remotely located UPS systems.
    g) Battery-related parameters like battery-capacity, battery-health, battery-voltage, and charge/discharge current can also be monitored.

    Advance Battery Health Information System

    Every UPS Customer faces a nightmare when he is informed that his batteries are faulty and they need replacement. It indirectly means his UPS cannot give the desired backup.

    To ensure Advance Warning to users, we have launched a new product

  • Advance Battery Health Information System
  • (ABHIS). In this System the following functions are periodically performed :

      a) Check and Monitor the health of each battery on a selected periodicity basis in the Battery compartment.

      b) Generate data of battery performance .

      c) Generate an advance intimation of battery weakening and plan for timely replacements.

      d) Obtain this data of battery health at a central control station away from
          the site through Modem and leased lines or near the battery station.

     HOW DOES IT WORK ?

     i) A Micro-controller system would work in conjunction with each battery through a Relay circuit.

     ii) The relays would operate in a multiplexing mode so that information on each battery is logged
         individually and made available in Micro-controller Unit.

     iii) The Micro-controller system would include additional Hardware-Software solution to forward the
         information vide Dial_up line or Leased line or Internet to the Central Control Station.

     iv) Additional RS-232 Port will be provided to connect LapTop / Computer to get information
         locally.
