Overview
For critical loads we also offer load sharing based UPS system that works on a redundancy principle. For two UPS works in parallel synchronized mode to equally share the critical load, their output waveforms must closely match with respect to frequency and phase angle for all three phases. The result of this operation is that the UPS modules automatically share the critical load, and they can selectively trip and remove themselves from the critical output bus if an inverter failure or some other critical event occurs. The paralleled outputs, called the critical bus, drive the load.
Enertech offers UPS in N+1 hot standby operation. Commonly termed “N+1″ (incorporating 2 mirrored systems) standby power redundancy can be extended even further to n+2 or even N+3 configurations to cover ultra-critical systems and provide almost 100% “guaranteed” power cover should standby power be required.
Redundancy is essential for mission-critical applications; such as in data centers or in demanding environments such as industrial process control where down-time for any reason is a costly and unwelcome interruption.
